Is this similar to Reiki?

Broadly speaking, both energies are thought to originate from the same Source. Both have been termed Universal Life Force. But they exist as different bandwidths.

Reiki is a gentle flowing energy thought to slowly heal the aura. It typically flows from crown to feet or from feet to crown.  Reiki is best used for relaxation, release of stress and reducing pain. Reiki is good for sending to situations to positively change them for the better.

Reconnective Healing is thought to come at you from all directions, going after and affecting change upon the cause of the symptom, and you often feel your muscles being moved. It is more intense, like a strong laser beam while Reiki is more like a wide ray of energy.

Reconnective Healing is more for healing physical, mental, emotional and spiritual problems whereas Reiki is more of a mist of life force enveloping the client, proving great for gentle relaxation.
