A note on texting - If possible, let me know from the outset your key interests and when you anticipate meeting so I can plan ahead.  If you're unsure what aspects of a scene you'll enjoy, forward me your email address and I'll get back with various suggestions.  I'm happy to establish the basics via text if prefered, for many it takes a lot to make first contact, that's cool.  If it's a longer discussion you need prior to meeting, best to phone or email for a detailed reply - I'm down-to-earth and approachable.  I do get a fair few timewasters and fantasists who repeatedly text but never meet - so emailing or speaking in person tends to indicate that someone's genuine.
